GP practices
General practitioners (GPs) work from medical centres in the community and are usually your first point of contact for health concerns. You can also have an appointment with a GP on the phone or in a video call.
GP care in Marlborough provides the first point of contact for most health needs, offering ongoing, community-based medical support and services. A GP will connect you to wider specialist and hospital services when needed.
GPs are also available after-hours when a medical centre is closed, through phone or video calls, using Practice Plus. Read more about video and phone appointments here.
You need to be enrolled with a medical centre (GP practice) to see a GP.
The price of a GP appointment varies between practices. It is free for all enrolled children under the age of 14, and is subsidised (discounted) for people with Community Service Cards.
