The Medical Officer is responsible providing a safe and efficient urgent care medicine service.
To provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment and preventative care, whilst also managing clinical services and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards. You are responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered. Targets and objectives are met in line with national and local standards.

Marlborough Primary Health (MPH) promotes and supports community health services by leading and coordinating a range of health care services to an enrolled population. It achieves this by contracting services to General Practices, Marlborough Urgent Care, and other Primary Health providers such as Māori and Pacific Providers.
This casual role provides reception and administrative support across Renwick Medical Centre and Marlborough Urgent Care. Responsibilities include handling patient enquiries, managing appointments, processing patient payments, and providing administrative support, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant policies and procedures. Flexibility to work across both sites is essential.
