Marlborough Primary Health is committed to protecting your personal information when using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
We mostly use AI to improve some of our office functions and administration.
In GP clinics and in some of the services we provide ourselves from the Marlborough Community Health Hub, an AI tool might be used to transcribe might be used to transcribe what was spoken and decided in your appointment, to turn it into a draft note for your medical records, that is checked and corrected (if needed) before saving it. This helps us to spend more time listening to you and talking with you, and less time typing up notes during your consultation.
We do not use or allow AI to collect information about you, or make any decisions for your care.
