Water

Water comes in many forms and is one of the most important nutrients. We are unlikely to survive more than three days without it.

75% of the human body is water which is essential for regulating organs, controlling body temperature and dissolving solids.

85% of the brain is water and mild dehydration can lead to problems such as headaches, lethargy, dizziness and an inability to concentrate.

Recommeded fluid intake for adults is 6-8 glasses of fluids a day, children 4-6. You can include water, pure fruit juice, milk, fruits and soups.
